An account is BluMortgage's way of allowing you to have more than one person connected. We often like to call it a household. Many customers like to have this feature so that they can keep track of a husband and wife (for example) outside of the actual mortgage transaction. 

This is not a feature that everyone has to use, some users choose not to do so, but if you do use it, one handy feature is that all mortgages and notes on anyone in that household will roll up into the household i.e it becomes the center for all information.
