Update Fields on the Submission Information Dashboard

Modify Dashboard Based on Existing Fields

After you've selected your vendors, you know need to record information based on the submission/bid that the vendor has returned.
On the Submission Information Dashboard, there are 3 fields that can be quickly accessed/modified:
  1. Primary Field- default value is Amount. Will appear as the largest value on the compare bids screen
  2. Field 2- there is no default value. Will appear on the compare bids screen, but smaller
  3. Field 3- default value is Notes. Will not appear on the compare bids screen
Note: You can track/record more than 3 fields. However, to do so, you'll need to View or Edit the Submission record
To modify the default fields, simply click on the gear in the top right corner:


In the Settings area, there are 3 tabs. The first is "Field Settings" where you can modify the default fields through each respective drop-down.

The drop-down will contain all fields in the Submission module. If you have a specific data point that you need to record, you can add this in the Submission module (next section).

Add New Fields for Your Business

Go to Settings -> Customizations -> Modules & Fields.
Since installing SID, a new module will be available called "Submissions":



By clicking on this module, you can add new fields that are relevant for the Submissions/Bids in your specific business.
When you return to the Submission Information Dashboard settings area, these newly added fields will now be available.

Note: You'll need save the field changes AND fully close and re-open SID for the new fields to appear
